Creating A New Brand: Proshield
As part of winning a new business pitch with Mann + Hummel, we got the unique opportunity to craft a new automotive filter brand from scratch.
From the initial research, naming the brand, and building the brand guide, to shooting new assets and creating packaging, we did it all.
The new brand was being sold to distributors and back of house professionals as a reliable and durable filter at a surprisingly reasonable price. With this in mind, we wanted to make sure that the overall brand we created was simple and symbolic of the hardworking mechanics and customers that they serve.
We crafted elements for their sales team and staff to use.
Strategically Selecting Our Brand Elements
We started by finding white space in the category from a color scheme perspective. Many brands featured red, green, black and gold. So we purposefully selected our colors to stand out on the shelf.
Amazon Storefront
We created a conversion focused Amazon storefront designed to quickly explain the positioning. We also made it easy for people to find the right filter for their vehicle with a custom filter “filtering” plug in to streamline filter selection.
