GE Appliances: eCommerce Ecosystems and A+ Content

I managed and helped execute the creative and content production needs for GE Appliances helping them fill their eCommerce ecosystem with the right content in the right places. From crafting their products in 3D, building ways for consumers to view products in 3D and drop them in their customers’ homes, to leading economical shoots and crafting educational, conversion-focused A+ content for Lowes and Home Depot product pages, I managed, concepted, and helped lead the charge for bringing it all to life.

For the launch of GE’s innovative washer and dryer combo, we needed an ecosystem of content designed to tell the story of the innovations in a way that meant something to customers. Through strategic creative planning and concepting and an efficient, multi-pronged shoot, I helped bring to life the content we needed to tell our product’s story, create an effective product launch, and achieve exceptional results.

From concept & production to A+content, ads & more

After an efficient shoot, we had the assets needed to create a variety of content types for ads, videos, gifs, graphics, and more.

Creating Immersive eCommerce Experiences

In addition to the content and advertising, I worked with our CG/3D artist and my development lead to create ways for people to drop the new washer and dryer into their home and virtually experience our interactive laundry room. These immersive 3D and AR experiences helped drive higher engagement numbers and ultimately conversions that exceeded our benchmarks.

The results:

The work helped create one of the most successful product launches in GE’s history. We exceeded sales KPIs by 14%, exceeded sales goals by 31%, and helped GE claw back 3% in market share.
