Helping Create Interactive Experiences For GE
I helped lead the way for our agency in helping GE Appliances build interactive, virtual showroom experiences. We started by building kitchens and products in CG/3D and then we used those assets to create advertising and interactive experiences in social, paid media and on their new DTC sites and partner sites. Check out the quick sizzle showing some of the 3D assets we made for use in our experiences.
From 3D Assets To Interactive Experiences
Our process would start by utilizing photography guides and mood boards to help our 3D and production teams craft kitchens for use in our interactive experiences. We would also model 3D appliances and allow users on the DTC sites to view the assets in their home for a virtual demo.
Creating these virtual kitchens and products ultimately saved the client money related to creating new assets and new work. We achieved greater efficiency and quality because we could update our assets on the fly and change the environments, lighting, finishes and more without having to go back on a physical set. We utilized the kitchens we built for a coffee pot product launch and other needs as well saving the client lots of money while producing experiences that were more engaging than leveraging practically shot assets.
